Northeast State’s Got Talent holds auditions Sept. 14 & 15

Attention singers, dancers, musicians, magicians, and other talented people. Northeast State’s Music and Choral Program will hold preliminary auditions Sept. 14 and 15 for its 3rd annual Northeast State’s Got Talent show. The event is part of the College’s annual Because of You Campaign to raise scholarship funds.

admin-ajax.phpThe auditions will be held at 6:00 pm in the Wellmont Regional Center for the Performing Arts (WRCPA), 2425 Highway 75, adjacent to the Tri-Cities Regional Airport. A non-refundable registration fee of $10 is required for individuals and $25 for groups. The show welcomes entrants from the community as well as Northeast State’s faculty, staff, and students. The winners of the auditions will advance to the final talent show on Oct. 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the WRCPA. The winner will receive cash prizes, 1st place: $150, 2nd place: $75, 3rd place: $50. Admission to the show is $2 for students and $8 for adults. All proceeds benefit the program’s Performing Arts Scholarship.
