RCAM hosts Advanced Tech meet & greet Sept. 22

Northeast State Job, Ready, Willing & Able Initiative (JRWA) and Goodwill Industries of Tenneva have teamed up to host a free Meet and Greet Event focused on Advanced Technologies training opportunities at Northeast State Community College.

The free event will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing (RCAM) in Kingsport. Tickets for the event can be picked up at the following locations:

  • The Northeast State Blountville campus located at 2425 Highway 75, in the General Studies Building (office C2301)
  • Goodwill Industries of Tenneva Corporate Office located at 2017 Brookside Lane, Kingsport
  • Blazier-Wilson Hall located at 222 West Main Street, Kingsport (front office: Melissa May).

To have a ticket held at the door, please call Northeast State at 423.354.5209 or Goodwill Industries at 423.245.0600. This is a free event, but attendees will need a ticket to enter.

There will be information provided on the JRWA Initiative, training programs at Northeast State (one-year and two-year opportunities), services provided by Goodwill Industries, and services provided through Northeast State’s Career Services. Several area employers, such as Eastman, Brock Services, and Tennessee Electric, will also be present to discuss skills needed and opportunities available at their business/industry.

This event is open to all; it is a great networking opportunity for those who are unemployed, graduating in a related field, or looking for opportunities for a job change.
