Northeast State opened its Johnson City campus for a preview Aug. 20 with plans to offer fall semester courses starting Aug. 24. Second session, Accelerated Study Program courses, will begin Oct. 19.
The College will have five classrooms and several offices in place for the fall semester. Additional lab and office space will be completed in a few weeks. When complete, the facility will house 38,700 square feet. The building is located at 101 E. Market St.
Northeast State officials said more than 50 courses will be offered this fall and core curriculum courses over the next two semesters. Science classes are slated to begin by June 2016. Currently, more than 260 students are enrolled at the Johnson City campus.
The College plans an official ribbon cutting and grand opening later this fall.
