Emma Morris, head of the Atlanta-based Morris Group, will lecture Sept. 25 at Northeast State about change management. Morris will speak to business leaders, faculty, staff, and students from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the WRCPA Theater on the main campus, 2425 Highway 75, Blountville.
Morris’ passion is advising and coaching executives to become phenomenal leaders and growers of leaders throughout their organizations. She believes people are the life and future of the organization and that every generation has much to learn from those ahead and behind of them.
Morris recently published Wingtips for Women: Success Without Compromise, a candid discussion about successful women and their practical tips about mentoring, coaching, and leadership.
Morris has held executive level positions with IBM, Ernst & Whinney, Dun & Bradstreet Software, and served as founding CEO for three technology companies subsequently acquired by global firms.
An expert on rapid growth, merger integration, and corporate change, she graduated cum laude from Emory University and earned an M.B.A. in international marketing from the University of South Carolina.
