Find out when Kate Lehman presents “Those Girls: Single Women in Sixties and Seventies Popular Culture” today at noon and 7 p.m. in the Wellmont Regional Center for the Performing Arts on the main campus adjacent to Tri-Cities Regional Airport. Lehman provides a multimedia examination of the changing roles of women as seen through the lenses of television and movies. The presentation is partly based on Lehman’s new book Those Girls.
Lehman is keynote presenter for this year’s Women’s History Month commemoration by Northeast State. The presentation is free and open to all.
The presentation is an Honors Program Lyceum event sponsored by the Northeast State Cultural Activities Committee.
