This Spirit Night event happens tomorrow from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Chick-fil-A on Peoples Street in Johnson City.  The company will donate 20 percent of purchases made during that time to Doe River Gorge Ministries and Marsh Blood Services in memory of White.

The students of ETSU Midway Honors Scholars organized the fundraiser to honor White who passed away during the fall 2012 semester while a student at ETSU.

White graduated summa cum laude from Northeast State in spring 2011.  He was an Honors Student and served as president of the Scholars Foundation and Psychological Society student organizations.  He served as a counselor as well as a laborer at Doe River Gorge.

Monetary donations can also be made directly to Doe River Gorge Ministries (P.O. Box 791, Elizabethton, TN 37644) by way of cash, check, or bank card in memory of White.
